Portland, Oregon Photographer
I'm Trista! I am a full service fine art portrait photographer in Portland, Or. I specialize in creating natural and timeless portraits for high school seniors, families and children. I also work with entrepreneurs and corporations creating head shots and custom images that define and communicate your brand message.
My career in professional portraiture began in 1996, a time when we only printed our photographs. As we transitioned to digital photography our methods of displaying our professional portraits changed drastically. In fact they were not even displayed at all. (Unless you consider a social media platform or a disc in your desk drawer as a form of display.)
Over the past several years I've discovered that majority of people who have received only digital files from photographers have never even printed their own portraits, and some have actually lost them. They have no clue where to find them on their computer, or let alone on an out dated compact disc you cant even put into your current machine. WHAT??? how can that be? You invested so much time and effort in creating the perfect photos! All of that hard work you did, looking for the best photographer, finding the perfectly coordinated outfits, a great location and a non-rainy Portland day only to have no actual printed photographs? All you have is an electronic version that may not exist anymore. Many older compact discs are no longer readable. How do I know? I have had personal experience and admittedly can not tell you where my 15 year old's electronic baby pictures are.
You deserve better than this, your children deserves better than this. Your family deserves to have printed memories cluttering your home's surfaces, art hanging on your wall, albums for them to flip through as time carries on. I am extremely committed to providing my customers with a complete portrait service. From consultation to your final product order I am steadfast on offering my clients custom wall art, premium albums, photographic prints, as well as digital collections and specialty items that will be cherished for years to come.
I hope to create lasting memories for you!
